My son started seeing Dr. Kennedy in the middle of pandemic – after he was diagnosed with ADHD. I was impressed with the responsiveness of the staff – even though I know they were swamped, like every other institution providing mental health services! We got an appointment right away and Dr. Kennedy took time to listen to my concerns regarding starting medication, effectiveness of therapy, and struggles at school. We felt heard & taken care of – when we needed it most! Since then, I’ve referred several parents who had concerns about their children’s mental health.
Aris saved my daughter’s life. We came to Aris by a recommendation from Children’s Hospital. At the time, my husband and I were exhausted, confused, and frightened; for the first time in our lives as parents, my daughter was in the grips of something we couldn’t just make better. Children’s gave me three clinics; I called Aris because it was near my husband’s job – but I am so glad for the coincidence. Before we enrolled there, the psychologist at my daughter’s elementary school said she had heard very good things about the program, and I can now confirm that. The three months at Aris gave my child – and our family – the coping strategies and understanding to get back on the right track. The therapists and administrative staff are truly phenomenal. This is what effective mental health care for children looks like.

I have been working with Tamara CNP and Michelle CNP at ARIS for some time now and they have gone above and beyond to make sure all needs are met, and medications are stable. I would recommend them to anybody needing services!

Aris Clinic changed my life and the lives of many kids and families. The pediatric outpatient program and medication management received by the team at Aris Woodbury Clinic for our ASD/ADHD/Anxiety Dx’d son over the last 6 years has been invaluable. He went from struggling in school and socially and not ever having a doctor that really understood him to absolutely thriving in school and most other areas of life. We are so thankful for this place.
Our child recently completed his time at Aris and it was a wonderful experience for all of us. We were able to reduce some medications, engage in the process with family therapy and our son made a lot of progress. As a licensed psychologist who has consulted to Aris Clinic for a number of years now, I have always been impressed with the comprehensive nature of the program. The clinicians are immensely empathic and impressive practitioners. The updated space in Woodbury is also beautiful and provides an opportunity for treatment to take place in one setting again. Families should feel confident that their children will be receiving top notch treatment to help families effectively navigate sometimes difficult mental health crises.

As an ARIS technology partner, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting with the clinic almost monthly over the past few years. Every time I go back, I’m reminded of how much I enjoy working with the staff at the facility. Of course, the facility is beautiful, set in a gorgeous location and very well maintained. But the heart of the practice is its wonderful, warm staff, who care about everything they work on and take personal pride in their results.

We appreciated the small, hands on approach taken at Aris. We could tell they cared even when some of what was recommended was difficult to hear.
Excellent care and Dr Kennedy is amazing! She took the time to understand what is going on with my son. Because of her knowledge and understanding of his different diagnoses and prescription medications, she was able to adjust his meds to the right levels which has made a huge difference. Her therapy dog, Clover, is pretty great too!
This clinic is such an amazing place. They do everything they can in their power to help children & adolescents grow and overcome whatever mental illness they may be struggling with. As an intern there last summer, I got to witness first hand how kind, empathetic, and life-changing this staff is. They were so welcoming to me, and to every child that walked through those doors. Watching the therapists at Aris Clinic do their work has been my main motivation for the future. I can only hope to be half the therapist that the ones at Aris are one day!
