Michelle Baland is a school administrator from Intermediate 916 School District. She oversees the school team at Aris Clinic, as well as 916 Mahtomedi Academy, an alternative learning center. Michelle is passionate about meeting students and families where they are at and partnering to ensure that students have the opportunity for success. Her favorite quote is from Albert Einstein, “Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” Michelle has her Masters of Education from the University of Minnesota and her Ed Specialist degree from University of St. Mary’s. In her free time, Michelle enjoys exercising, reading, puzzles and spending time with family.
