She also includes behavioral therapies such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to assist clients in managing emotions, understanding triggers, and identifying ways to meaningfully engage with one’s life.
Ellie works to create a safe place where clients can process the world around them as well as the world within. She builds on skills and interests’ clients already have to continue their journey towards wellness. Ellie recognizes the courage it takes to access mental health services and honors wherever a client is coming from.
In her free time, Ellie enjoys spending time with family, going on walks, cooking, and spending time up north.
