Jenna graduated from Augsburg College with her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2018. She worked as a nurse at Pediatric Home Service and Gillette Childrens working with medically complex children and adults. During this time, she discovered her passion for supporting individuals’ mental health in addition to physical health. She then began to work at Prairie Care Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital while pursuing her Doctor of Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health at the University of Minnesota while concurrently completing a Graduate Certificate in Integrative Health and Healing Practices.

Jenna utilizes authentic connections to build relationships with families in order to develop care plans that are unique to the needs of the child. As a Certified Nurse Practitioner, she has full prescribing privileges and works independently providing diagnostic assessments, education, referrals, and medication management. In addition, she strives to use various non-medication interventions focusing on the mind-body connection such as nutrition, exercise, art, meditation, yoga, play, art and music.

When Jenna is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and rambunctious Husky. She likes to run, catch the latest Netflix series (preferably centered in historical British settings), or organize the next fun activities for her kids in three different age groups!

Jenna is currently accepting patients ages 5-25.
